Business Development - Information & Communications Technology (ict) at Bahrain Economic Development Board

Hamza Al-Sharaf's work experience begins with their role at ila Bank in 2020, where they worked as a Trainee for a brief period. In 2021, they joined Bahrain EDB as a Business Development - Information & Communications Technology specialist. In this role, they are responsible for promoting Bahrain as a regional tech hub, attracting foreign direct investments, managing relationships, advocating for regulatory reforms, developing projects, implementing strategies, and enhancing the ICT ecosystem in the Kingdom.

Hamza Al-Sharaf completed their high school education at Al Wisam International School, where they obtained a High School Diploma - GCSE in an unspecified field of study. Following this, they attended ARU College from 2016 to 2018, studying General Business. During this time, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Leadership from Anglia Ruskin University's Michael Ashcroft Business School, which they completed in 2020. In the same year, Hamza achieved level 5 certification in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute.

In addition to their formal education, Hamza Al-Sharaf has also obtained several certifications that enhance their skill set. These include completing "The Transformers - ila Bank Graduate Development Training Programme" at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) in July 2020, acquiring "Presentation Skills - ManageMentor" from Harvard Business Review in March 2021, enhancing their emotional intelligence through a certification from the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) in November 2022, and obtaining "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" certification from FranklinCovey in May 2023.
