Jonathan Song

Jonathan Song is an experienced professional with a diverse background in international relations and economic development. Currently serving as the Eastern China Representative for the Bahrain Economic Development Board since October 2021, Jonathan facilitates communication with government agencies, trade associations, and NGOs while promoting Bahrain's investment environment. Prior to this role, Jonathan was a Territory Associate at London & Partners in Shanghai, where efforts focused on promoting London's investment appeal and various sectors including education and tourism. Earlier experience includes serving as a Visa Officer with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and as a Relationship Manager at Patience & Carol, where responsibilities involved intellectual property protection and due diligence for foreign companies in China. Jonathan's career also includes a role with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel during the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai and as an Account Review Agent at PayPal, addressing fraud prevention. Educationally, Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Manufacturing Management from the University of Hertfordshire.
