Omar Babiker

Omar Babiker is currently serving as the Sr. Manager Regional Accounting at Bahri, where Omar leads a team of over 40 accountants across four subsidiaries and branches. Omar's responsibilities include managing monthly and quarterly closing, finalization, and consolidation to the parent company, as well as overseeing the treasury function and maintaining good relationships with the company's bankers. Prior to this role, Omar worked as the Finance Manager at Mideast Ship Management Ltd and as an Accounting Administrator at Vela International Marine. Omar holds a Master's degree in Quality Control Technology/Technician from the University of Wollongong in Dubai and a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce from Mansoura University.
