Taher Ali

Taher Ali is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the EdTech sector. Currently serving as the Business Head at Bahwan CyberTek since August 2018, Taher has successfully established and expanded the EdTech division, developing a diverse portfolio of solutions tailored for Higher Education, K12, Corporate, and Government clients through strategic partnerships. Prior to this role, Taher was the Director of Business Development at Hurix Systems from October 2014 to July 2018, where significant expansion of the eLearning business in the Middle East and other regions took place, including noteworthy acquisition of major corporate clients. Earlier in the career at Edutech from September 2012 to September 2014, Taher consulted with high-profile education and corporate clients in Qatar, focusing on technology transformation initiatives. Taher also held a position as Senior Business Development at Hurix Systems from March 2009 to August 2012. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Marketing and Information Technology from Indira Institute of Management, Pune, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Commerce and IT from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya.
