Ankit Karne

Ankit Karne is a dedicated professional in the field of social work, currently serving as a Senior Project Officer at BAIF Development Research Foundation since June 2022. In this role, Ankit manages corporate social responsibility projects across the state, focusing on agriculture, health, livestock, livelihoods, and women's empowerment. Prior experience includes a brief position as a Field Intern with the Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission in April 2022, where Ankit studied the functions of Self-Help Groups and the role of social inclusion in health and nutrition interventions. Additionally, Ankit completed a research internship with Transform Rural India, identifying gaps in healthcare systems within the Angara block of Ranchi District. Ankit holds a Master of Social Work in Rural Development from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a B.Sc from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
