Rajashree Joshi

Rajashree Joshi is the Programme Director at BAIF Development Research Foundation. Rajashree has over fifteen years of experience in the development sector, with a focus on rural and tribal development. Rajashree has worked with Rural Communes in Mumbai and CCDS in Pune, where they served as a Development Program Coordinator, Researcher, and Content Developer for Development Media. In these roles, they were responsible for proposal writing, staff capacity building, establishing project management systems, development research, conducting process documentation and liaisoning with funding agencies. Rajashree also oversaw field visits for monitoring and evaluation purposes, and provided staff training on NRM and livelihood interventions. In their current role at BAIF, they provide shape and direction to ongoing development projects focusing on rural and tribal development.

Rajashree Joshi has a Master's Degree in Rural and Urban Community Development from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai. Rajashree also has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics and Rural Development from the Savitribai Phule Pune University. Her Bachelor's Degree is in Economics from the University of Mumbai.

They are on a team with Balasaheb Pakhare - Chief Thematic Programme Executive, Construction & Infrastructure Management, Jayanti Mori - Chief Programme Executive, and Rakesh Warrier - Chief Programme Executive. Rajashree Joshi reports to Bharat Kakade, President & Managing Trustee.
