Kushtrim Shala

Kushtrim Shala has extensive work experience in the financial industry, with a focus on risk data and systems. Kushtrim currently holds the position of Head of Risk Data and Systems at Virgin Money, where they have been working since 2015. Prior to this role, Kushtrim worked as a Mortgage Integration and Transformation Senior Manager at Virgin Money, a Credit Decisioning Manager at the same company, and as a Data and Risk Infrastructure Specialist. Before joining Virgin Money, they were employed by Barclays as a Senior Decision Systems Analyst. Kushtrim also worked at Tesco Bank as a Senior Credit Risk Systems Analyst and at NatWest Group, where they held the positions of Business Analyst and Senior Business Associate.

Kushtrim Shala attended Hillhead High School in Glasgow from 1999 to 2004 for their secondary education. Kushtrim then pursued higher education at the University of Glasgow from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (MA) degree. Their field of study during their university years was Business and Management in the Social Sciences.
