Emily Gerard-Pearse

Emily Gerard-Pearse is an experienced impact analyst at Baillie Gifford, involved with the Positive Change fund, managing approximately £8 billion in assets under management. Previously, Emily served as an ESG analyst, focusing on engagement and research for the Sustainable Growth fund. At Newton Europe, Emily worked as a financial analyst and participated in a rotational graduate scheme that provided exposure to finance, marketing, and recruitment. Prior experience includes an internship as a science associate at Nell Health, managing partnerships, product development, and streamlining operations. Emily also conducted undergraduate research at the University of Oxford, including a field course focused on tropical forest ecology and a project on human risk-taking behavior. Emily holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford and completed the Future Leader's Programme at Close Brothers Asset Management.
