Fiona Johnston

Fiona Johnston is a highly experienced legal professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Deputy Head of Group Legal at Baillie Gifford since August 2011, Fiona has held various roles including Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Adviser within the same company. Prior to this, Fiona worked as an Associate at Maclay Murray & Spens LLP from August 2008 to August 2011, and as an Assistant Solicitor at Berwin Leighton Paisner and Mayer Brown between 2004 and 2008. Fiona holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Oxford and completed the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School, supplemented by studies in European Law at Leiden University. Education was initiated at St Margaret's School for Girls.
