Laura Thomson

Laura Thomson is a seasoned professional in climate, environment, and sustainability with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Senior Climate & Environment Analyst at Baillie Gifford since May 2018, Laura has held various senior roles focused on ESG analysis and multi-asset strategies. Prior to joining Baillie Gifford, Laura was an Environment and Sustainability Advisor at Laing O'Rourke from June 2014 to May 2018. Laura's career began at CDP, where responsibilities included account management and project coordination. Additional experience includes a role as a Carbon Footprinting and Marketing Associate at Planet Positive. Academically, Laura holds an MSc in Management from The University of Edinburgh and a BA (Hons) in French Studies from The University of Sheffield, complemented by international study experience at Université de Provence Aix-Marseille I.
