David Schiffmann

David Schiffmann, CFA, currently serves as the Managing Director and Head of Structuring at Bain Capital since March 2022. Prior to this role, Schiffmann held the position of Senior Vice President in CDO/CLO Trading and Structuring/Origination at Jefferies from August 2011 to February 2022. Previous experience includes working as a Credit Derivative Analyst at Lehman Brothers, where Schiffmann developed quantitative models for pricing credit derivatives and managed substantial positions during the firm's bankruptcy process. Additional roles include serving as a Teaching Assistant at Brandeis University, a Corporate Finance Analyst at Expertise & Conseil, a Managerial Associate at MECAPLAST, and a Project Leader Assistant at Airbus. Schiffmann holds a Master's degree in Finance and Business from Brandeis International Business School and a Master of Science in Engineering from ENSEEIHT.
