Hyekyung Kim

Hyekyung Kim is a partner based in Bain & Company’s Seoul office.

Since joining Bain in 2004, Hyekyung has served clients across a range of industries, including consumer products, retail, healthcare, industrial goods, construction and financial services. Her core areas of expertise include corporate vision and growth strategy, brand positioning strategy, sales and marketing strategy, performance improvement and new business. She also holds extensive experience in commercial due diligence and PMI, as well as value creation strategy for both global and local private equity funds.

As a core member of Bain's Consumer Products and Retail practices, Hyekyung’s recent experiences focus on the beauty, fashion and food sectors across the APAC region, including Korea, China and the SEA market.

She holds an MBA in finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Seoul National University.
