Phyllis Byars

Phyllis Byars is a Senior Manager of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Bain & Company, where they focus on designing and managing elite learning and development initiatives. With a proven track record in strategy implementation for diverse and high-performing individuals, Phyllis has also contributed as a Manager at Bain Academy since 2015, specializing in executive leadership interventions. Previously, they served as Associate Director at the Centre for Leadership and Dialogue at GIBS Business School from 2007 to 2015, managing teams dedicated to developing socially significant leadership programs. Phyllis holds a Master of Science in Education from the City University of New York and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Politics from the University of California, Berkeley.
