Jessika Joyner

Jessika Joyner (Gore) is an experienced professional with a background in crisis counseling, program coordination, and intake services. Currently serving as an Intake Coordinator at The Bair Foundation since July 2021, Jessika previously worked as a Career and Technical Education/Transition Specialist with AmeriCorps VISTA. Additional roles include Crisis Counselor at Safe Journey House, where responsibilities involved documenting treatment plans and facilitating interventions, Hotline Intake Counselor at the National Abortion Federation focusing on patient support, and Program Coordinator at Smart from the Start Inc, enhancing outreach and collaboration with community stakeholders. Jessika's early experience includes developing community partnerships and co-facilitating health education courses during tenure at the Forsyth County Department of Public Health. Jessika holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation and Human Service from Winston-Salem State University.
