Bill Baird launched the company in 1981 with three distinct goals:
1. To actively seek out the most challenging projects, wherever they may be. 
2. To advance science and engineering methods where water meets land. 
3. To have fun doing it. (Yes, fun.) Of course, it’s fun with a purpose.
