John Stephen Cornwill is a young social entrepreneur and social media marketer from the Philippines, and the founder and CEO of Bakás Apparel, a social enterprise focused on raising mental health awareness and breaking stigma in the Philippines. Bakás has sold 30,000+ products and funded mental health programs including a free community support group with almost 2,000 member-advocates, free public awareness talks, and 100+ free talk therapy sessions. Cornwill served as a Mentee at MCW Global (2020-2022) and as a Steering Committee Member for the ASEAN Youth Forum with the World Organization of the Scout Movement in 2017, and was a Trainer for Filipino Virtual Assistance in 2021. They are currently a Digital Marketing Specialist at Mind You (2024–Present) and a Local Council Executive Board Member for the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (2023–Present), and they completed the YSEALI Academic Fellowship in Social Entrepreneurship and Economic Development at The University of Texas at Austin in 2023.
