Stephen Cassie

Stephen Cassie currently serves as the Director of Operational Excellence at Bakelite Synthetics, with a focus on cross-functional team leadership and project management, leveraging over four additional skills. Prior to this role, Stephen spent over two decades at Hexion Inc., where responsibilities included Business Transformation Program Leader, Master Black Belt in Lean Sigma, and site leader, contributing expertise in business strategy, process improvement, and operations management. Stephen's experience also includes a position as Lean Sigma Master Black Belt EMEA at NCR Corporation and work as a Chartered Chemical Engineer at Georg Fischer. Educational qualifications include a BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, supplemented by foundational education at Craigmount High School.
