Veronica Pawlik is a Senior Scientist in the Growth & Innovation Department at Bakelite Synthetics, leading the ESG Carbon Footprint Team and coordinating EHS inspections since February 2024. Prior to this role, Veronica served as a tutor at Now I Get It! Tutoring, focusing on chemistry and biology for high school students, while also supporting those with learning disabilities. Veronica's academic experience includes being a Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, leading projects on nanoparticle syntheses and publishing review articles, as well as serving as Head Teaching Assistant for general chemistry. Veronica's internships include work at Alcon developing polymer formulations and previous research positions at Wellesley College and the Polska Akademia Nauk. Veronica earned a PhD in Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a BA in Chemistry and Music from Wellesley College, and attended Bergen County Technical High School, focusing on Law and Justice.
