Keros Therapeutics
Michael Linzey is a dedicated scientist currently engaged at Keros Therapeutics, where research focuses on the effects of TGFb ligand traps in animal models of neuromuscular disorders, including Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Previously, Michael served as a graduate student at Dartmouth College, investigating neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration mechanisms related to Theiler’s murine encephalomyelitis virus-induced demyelinating disease, with notable findings regarding the role of the complement system. Earlier experience includes a DMPK internship at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, developing detection methods for specific proteins, and a research assistant position at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy, where skills in LC-MS and GC-MS method development were enhanced. Michael earned a PhD in Neuroimmunology from Dartmouth College and holds a BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Georgia, alongside foundational studies in Neuroscience at Brigham Young University.
