Ian Lochore has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Ian began their career at Black and Decker Australia, where they held various sales roles and completed a graduate training program. In 1999, they transferred to Black and Decker USA, where they served in marketing and sales management positions. Ian then returned to Black and Decker Australia in 2003 as a brand manager for the DeWalt brand.

From 2004 to 2006, Ian worked as the National Sales and Marketing Manager at KORJO Travel ProductsPlan, where they developed and managed the sales and marketing strategy. Ian then joined SunPower Corporation in 2007 as the Sales and Marketing Manager for Australia, responsible for business-to-business sales and sales management.

In 2009, Ian took a break from their professional career to complete their Graduate Diploma of Education and worked as a student teacher at Edith Cowan University.

In 2010, Ian joined Natural Energy Company, also known as Solargain Southwest, as the Southwest Sales and Marketing Manager, where they set and implemented the sales and marketing strategy for the company. Ian was later promoted to General Manager, where they were responsible for the daily management and strategic direction of the business.

Ian left Natural Energy Company in 2013 to join SolarCity as a Regional Sales Manager, before moving on to their current position at Baker Electric Home Energy in 2014. At Baker Electric Home Energy, Ian initially served as the Director of Sales before being promoted to the role of VP / General Manager - PV Division in February 2019.

Ian Lochore attended Curtin University from 1993 to 1997, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Marketing and a focus on Indonesian studies. In 2009, they enrolled in Edith Cowan University and completed a degree in Education with an emphasis on primary education.
