Claudia Mercer

Claudia Mercer is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in application security and program management, currently serving as IT Director for ERP Application Security at Baker Hughes since December 2007. Responsibilities include overseeing the global ERP Applications Security program, ensuring adherence to security protocols for critical systems, and managing a diverse project portfolio. Previous roles at Baker Hughes included positions such as Sr. Manager for IT Program Management and Manager of IT Enterprise Application Security. Prior to joining Baker Hughes, Claudia worked as a consultant at Accenture specializing in SAP security for energy clients, held various technical and training roles at MAXIMUS and Andersen Consulting, and began the career as an IT Analyst at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Claudia holds an MBA in Management from Tulane University and a BBA in Management Information Systems from Prairie View A&M University.
