David Howlett

David Howlett is an experienced engineer with a strong background in power management systems. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at Baker Hughes since August 2022, David specializes in the design of power management control systems, generator management, and the preparation of technical specifications. Prior to this role, David spent 18 years at BRUSH Group as a Senior Controls Engineer and held several positions including Controls Engineer, contributing significantly to the design of generator control and instrumentation systems. David's career in engineering began at BRUSH ELECTRICAL MACHINES LIMITED, where David advanced through various roles, ultimately managing projects and leading teams in the drawing office. David possesses two BTEC HNC degrees, one in Computing and another in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, obtained from Loughborough College Group.
