John Monson is a seasoned professional in operational excellence and quality leadership, currently serving as Global Quality Leader at Baker Hughes since November 2020, where initiatives focus on compliance, customer success, risk management, and cost reduction. Prior to this, John held positions at EMPLOYERS from March 2015 to October 2020, including Director of Operational Excellence and Director of Process Center of Excellence, where strategic activities were directed to streamline operations and enhance customer experiences. With extensive experience at GE from 2001 to 2015 in roles such as Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Project Management Process & Tools Leader, John applied advanced methodologies including Hoshin Kanri and Kaizen to drive efficiency and quality. John holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from California State University, Chico, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of North Dakota.
