Mark Stifter

Mark Stifter CISSP has a diverse professional background in governance, risk management, and cybersecurity, currently serving as the Director of Governance and Director of Cyber Policy and Strategy at Baker Hughes since August 2022. Prior to this role, Mark was the President of Herndonwood Associates Inc. from May 2021 to August 2022 and held various leadership positions at RGP, including Vice President – Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance (Americas & Europe) from December 2017 to May 2021. Mark's expertise encompasses managing GRC divisions, overseeing advisory business units, and integrating teams and offerings from acquisitions. Earlier career experiences include serving as VP of Security & Enterprise Governance at Accretive Solutions, Director at Jefferson Wells, Senior Consultant at KPMG, and Senior Systems Analyst at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Mark holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
