Abeer Jarrar

Abeer Jarrar currently serves as a Partner in Corporate M&A and Capital Markets at Baker McKenzie since August 2021 and is also a Board Member of the MENA Advisory Board at Georgetown University Law Center from July 2021. Previously, Abeer held the position of Managing Associate in Corporate M&A and Capital Markets at Linklaters from 2017 to 2021 and was a Senior Associate in Corporate M&A at Clifford Chance from 2011 to 2017. Abeer served as Regional Director for the Middle East at the International Bar Association in 2010-2011 and worked as a Third Secretary/Consul at the Embassy of Jordan in Washington, DC from 2002 to 2006. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) from Georgetown University Law Center, a Higher Diploma in Diplomatic Studies and Negotiations from the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy, and a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Commercial Law from the University of Kent.
