Anja Halliger

Anja Halliger has a strong background in Human Resources, with experience in leadership positions at various companies. Anja currently serves as the Head HR at Baker McKenzie, a role they started in September 2023. Prior to this, they were the HR Director Switzerland at VISTRA from October 2021 to July 2023. Before joining VISTRA, Anja was the Leiterin Human Resources at Privatbank IHAG Zürich from April 2020 to August 2021. Anja also worked as the Head of Human Resources at Robeco Switzerland Ltd. from August 2010 to April 2020. Anja's earlier experience includes working at Zürcher Kantonalbank as a Senior HR Business Partner from January 2007 to June 2010 and as an HR Business Partner from August 2002 to December 2006. Additionally, they worked at UBS as the Head of Graduate Recruitment and Talent Development / Investment Banking from December 1999 to December 2001 and as a Graduate Recruiter / Private Banking from August 1999 to November 1999. Anja's career began at ABB, where they served as the Head of Graduate Recruitment from January 1996 to July 1999 and as a Human Resources Assistant in Graduate Recruitment from January 1995 to December 1995. Anja also has experience as an Assistant / Research Associate at ETH from November 1991 to December 1994.

Anja Halliger completed a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology from ETH Zürich in the years 1986 to 1991. Anja then pursued a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from ETH Zürich between 1997 and 1999. Later, in 2007 to 2008, they obtained a Master of Advanced Studies in Human Resources Management from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW.
