Elizabeth Barbeary

Elizabeth Barbeary is currently a Trainee Solicitor at Baker McKenzie, where training encompasses seats in Employment, Dispute Resolution, Trade & Regulatory, and a second Dispute Resolution seat in New York City. Elizabeth has a strong academic background with degrees from the University of Oxford, including a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Civil Laws (BCL), as well as completing an LLM LPC at BPP Law School. Previous roles include teaching as a TOPS Tutor in Tort at the University of Tokyo, participating in the Women at the Commercial Bar Mentorship Scheme at One Essex Court, and contributing as an LNAT Marker at the University of Oxford. Additional experience encompasses leadership roles such as Director of Access at Oxford Omnia International and Associate Editor for the Oxford University Undergraduate Law Journal. Elizabeth's practical experience includes vacation schemes at Baker McKenzie and Slaughter and May, in which a training contract was secured after a prior vacation scheme.
