Javier Nolasco

Director, Global Ediscovery & Data Advisory at Baker McKenzie

Javier Nolasco has extensive work experience in the legal industry, specifically in eDiscovery and data advisory. Javier started their career at the National Archives and Records Administration as an Archives Technician in 2004. Javier then worked as an Operations Assistant at Varsity Group in 2007 and as an International Move Manager at Security International in 2008. In the same year, they joined Kirkland & Ellis LLP as a Case Assistant. In 2009, they joined Baker McKenzie as a Litigation Support Specialist, where they worked until 2013. From 2014 onwards, they held various roles at Baker McKenzie, including Manager of Practice Support, Associate Director for North America and Latin America, Associate Director for EMEA, and currently, Director of Global eDiscovery & Data Advisory. In their roles, they have specialized in managing eDiscovery projects, providing data advisory services, and overseeing practice support and litigation support. Additionally, they have previous experience as an Editorial/Bilingual Assistant at AARP, where they handled various administrative tasks and assisted with media relations and research. Throughout their career, Javier has demonstrated expertise in legal operations, project management, and language services, making him a valuable asset in the legal field.

Javier Nolasco attended Wesleyan Academy from 2000 to 2004, where they received their High School diploma. Afterward, from 2004 to 2008, they studied International Affairs and Geography at The George Washington University, earning a BA degree. In 2006, Javier briefly attended the School for International Training, focusing on International Development and Public Health. Prior to that, from 1990 to 2000, they attended Saint George School in the Dominican Republic for their elementary and secondary education.
