Jochen Meyer-Burow

Jochen Meyer-Burow is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in VAT and indirect tax matters. As a Partner at Baker & McKenzie since 2006, Jochen established a VAT Compliance Practice and provides comprehensive advice on VAT-related issues. Previous roles include VAT/Indirect Tax Attorney at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Legal Counsel at Manhattan Review, and Tax Attorney at KPMG Deutschland, focusing on international tax law. Early legal training was completed at the Superior Court of Düsseldorf, encompassing various legal positions. Jochen holds a Master’s Degree in IT Law and e-commerce taxation from Queen Mary University of London, a Master’s Degree in Tax Law from Universität Osnabrück, and a First Legal State Exam from Heidelberg University.
