Jonathan Alumbaugh

Jonathan Alumbaugh has extensive work experience in the field of information security and networking. Jonathan currently works as the Chief Information Security Officer at Baker McKenzie, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Information Security at the same company from July 2013 to July 2022. Jonathan also held the positions of Sr. Manager of Network Services and Network Services Manager at Baker McKenzie from July 2011 to October 2011.

Before joining Baker McKenzie, Jonathan worked as the Global WAN Architect at Baker & McKenzie from February 2001 to June 2008. Jonathan also worked at Information Technologies International, Inc as the VP of Internetworking Technology from June 1998 to February 2001, and as a Systems Integration Consultant from June 1996 to June 1998.

Jonathan's early career included a role as a Consultant at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from October 1996 to October 1998, and as a Graduate Assistant at Southern Illinois University from August 1994 to May 1996.

Jonathan Alumbaugh earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where they studied from 1989 to 2003. Jonathan further pursued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's in Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Business from 1994 to 1996. In addition to their degrees, Jonathan Alumbaugh also holds several certifications in the field of information security and risk management, including Law of Data Security & Investigations (GLEG) from GIAC obtained in October 2015, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA obtained in September 2012, and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA obtained in September 2011.
