Berkan Atalay

Berkan Atalay has a strong background in information technology and cybersecurity. Berkan started their career at eAsset Solutions as a Computer/Electronics Tester Repair from 2009 to 2011. Berkan then worked as a PC Support Technician at Interstate Moving | Relocation | Logistics from 2014 to 2016, providing daily support to PC users and assisting with network and internet services. In 2016, they joined USPTO as an Enterprise Analyst, where they investigated and troubleshooted Tier 3 technical issues and performed advanced troubleshooting and resolution of enterprise-wide issues. Berkan Atalay then joined Erickson Immigration Group as an IT System Administrator in February 2019 and progressed to roles of increasing responsibility, including Information Technology Manager and Senior Information Technology Manager. Currently, they serve as the Director of Technology Operations and Cybersecurity, where they are responsible for managing the Cyber Security Program, overseeing IT staff, optimizing network performance, implementing systems and procedures, and maintaining compliance through system audits.

Berkan Atalay completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Applied Information Technology-Information Security from George Mason University. Berkan attended the university from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) from Amazon in December 2018, VMware Certified Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization from VMware in March 2018, and A+ certification from CompTIA in November 2014.
