Yolanda Howze

Yolanda Howze, MPA, SHRM-SCP, SPHR®, IPMA-SCP, currently serves as the Director of Public Sector Executive Recruitment at Baker Tilly US since August 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Consultant in the Higher Education & Public Sector Practice at Gallagher from March 2020 to August 2022, and Assistant to the City Manager/Director of Human Resources for the City of University City, Missouri from August 2018 to March 2020. Yolanda also held the position of Director of Human Resources for the City of Bellaire, Texas from April 2012 to July 2018. Previous roles encompass independent HR consulting and extensive experience in human resources management for full-service cities, focusing on various HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and legal compliance. Yolanda holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration & Policy Analysis from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, along with Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Organizational Leadership from Maryville University of Saint Louis.
