Carol Sorrell has a diverse and extensive work experience. Carol started their career as a Registered Nurse at Kern Medical Center in 1980 and worked there until 1987. Carol then joined Kaiser Permanente as a Director and worked there until 1994. After that, they worked at Kern Health Systems as President and CEO from 1994 to 2011. In 2012, they assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Bakersfield Family Medical Center. At the same time, they also became the Chief Operating Officer at Bakersfield Family Medical Center and Coastal Communities Physician Network until May 2023. Throughout their career, Carol Sorrell has held leadership positions and has experience in managing medical groups and ensuring compliance with CMS requirements.
