Colin Henderson has an extensive work experience spanning various roles in the field of cybersecurity and information security. 🤛Colin'smost recent position is as the Chief Information Security Officer at Bakkt since May 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Advisor at Query.AI from September 2020. 🤛Colin also held the position of Chief Information Security Officer at OneTrust from January 2021 to May 2022. Before that, they worked as an Executive Director of Cyber Security at Morgan Stanley from October 2020 to January 2021, and as the Vice President of Cybersecurity at E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley from April 2016 to October 2020. Colin has also worked in leadership roles at PwC as the Director of Cyber Financial Services from February 2015 to April 2016, at HP as the Managing Principal, Americas East - Security Intelligence Consulting from May 2014 to February 2015, and as the Global Principal Security Solutions Consultant from October 2011 to May 2014. 🤛Colin also has experience as a Senior Security Operations Consultant and Security Operations Consultant at HP. Colin's earlier work experience includes serving as the Lead Security Analyst at Tyson Foods from January 2005 to July 2008, and as a Network Vulnerability Analyst at the National Security Agency from April 2002 to December 2004.

Colin Henderson holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained between the years 1997 and 2001. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, which they completed between 2002 and 2004. In addition to their formal education, Colin has obtained several certifications in the field of information security. 🤛Colin received the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA in March 2009, the GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) certification from GIAC in March 2009, the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in October 2008, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in December 2004.
