Scott Lawson

Scott Lawson, P.E., LEED AP, has extensive experience in consulting engineering spanning over four decades. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at Bala Consulting Engineers since August 1985, Lawson leads a firm specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Information Technology, and Structural Design, along with LEED services. Prior to this role, Lawson was Vice President at PHY Engineers, Inc. from August 1985 to December 2012, contributing to similar engineering services. Lawson's career began as a Mechanical Engineer at Fluor, focusing on petrochemical design from February 1981 to December 1982, followed by a position as Project Manager at E-Squared Engineering, which provided energy and environmental consulting services from January 1983 to July 1985. Lawson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, obtained from 1974 to 1978.
