Jay Sampat has a diverse work experience in the media and entertainment industry. Jay currently works as the EY India Head of Business Development for Media & Entertainment and Director TMT at EY. Prior to this, they served as the Group Strategy Head at Balaji Telefilms Ltd., India's biggest TV production company, and one of the largest production houses in the region. Jay has also held roles at Accenture, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Zee Telefilms Ltd, and Sony Entertainment Television, where they gained expertise in marketing, strategy, and business development. Jay began their career as a Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Jay Sampat completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computers/Electrical from Sardar Patel College of Engineering from 1992 to 1996. Jay then pursued a Master's in Management Studies (MMS) with a focus on marketing/finance from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) from 1997 to 1999. In 1999, Jay also earned a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certificate from ICFAI.
