Kathleen Heaton has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kathleen began their career in 2002 at Physicians' Service Center, Inc., where they held roles such as Assistant to Credentialing Coordinator and Managed Care Coordinator. Kathleen then moved on to Chest Medicine Consultants, S.C., where they served as an Administrative Assistant and Research Coordinator. In 2006, they returned to Physicians' Service Center, Inc. as a Credentialing Coordinator and later became the Coding Department Team Leader.

In 2011, Kathleen joined the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago as a CCPA Managed Care Liaison and later transitioned to the role of Operations Manager, CCPA. Following this, they worked at PediaTrust LLC, taking on various leadership positions such as Manager of Operations, Billing Manager, Senior Manager of Revenue Cycle, and Director of Business Operations.

Kathleen then joined UChicago Medicine as the Manager of Physician Practice Integration, where they played a vital role in integrating and managing physician practices. Most recently, in 2021, Kathleen worked as the Integration and Compliance Manager at Weil Foot & Ankle.

Currently, they hold the position of Director of Integration and Credentialing at Balance Health, demonstrating their proficiency in integrating and credentialing processes.

Kathleen Heaton has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Marquette University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2005. Kathleen later pursued a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Loyola University Chicago from 2010 to 2011. Kathleen then continued their education at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where they obtained a Master of Jurisprudence degree in Health Law from 2015 to 2017.
