Tamara Porfirio

Tamara Porfirio has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tamara most recently served as the Chief Administrative Officer at Balance Health, where they played a key role in their merger with Weil Foot & Ankle, resulting in the largest podiatry organization in the country. Prior to that, Tamara held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Weil Foot & Ankle. Tamara also has experience as an Owner of Pinot's Palette Logan Square, where they successfully managed the business. Additionally, Tamara has held executive positions at UChicago Medicine, including Executive Director of UCM Care Network Medical Groups and Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of MedCentrix, Ingalls Health System, UChicago Medicine. Tamara has also worked as a Consultant at UChicago Medicine, where they were responsible for various planning and integration tasks. Tamara's earlier experience includes positions at Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation and the Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery & Neuroresearch (CINN) Medical Group. Tamara has a strong background in healthcare administration and operations, with expertise in network development, financial analysis, and budget oversight.

Tamara Porfirio has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Indianapolis. Tamara also holds a Master of Science degree in Pharmacology from the University of Iowa. Additionally, Tamara has obtained a Lean Healthcare Bronze Certification from Simpler Consulting in 2014.
