Vice President, Experience (User Experience, Customer Experience, and Front-End Development) at Balance Innovations

Paul Castro has a diverse work experience in various roles related to user experience, customer experience, and creative direction. Paul started their career in 2000 as a Creative Director at Icon Marketing Communications and then moved on to become an Art Director at the Sunflower Group in 2003. From 2005 to 2008, they served as the Creative and User Experience Director at Tricycle Design.

In 2007, Paul joined Perceptive Software - A Lexmark Company as the User Experience Team Lead until 2011. Following that, they worked at Front Flip as the Director of Product, User Experience, and Creative from 2011 to 2013. Paul then transitioned to VMLY&R, where they held the position of Associate Director of User Experience from 2013 to 2015.

Paul then joined SMG - Service Management Group as the Manager of User Experience from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they became the Director of Customer Experience Marketing at Balance Innovations, a Brink's Division until 2019. Paul briefly served as the Director of Experience at the same company before assuming their current role as the Vice President of Experience, which encompasses user experience, customer experience, and front-end development.

In 2019, Paul also became a Co-Founder, Owner, CFO, and COO at C2 Association Management. Currently, they are an Experience Advisor and Investor at Hercules - Virtual Assistant since 2021. Overall, Paul has extensive experience in user experience, customer experience, and creative roles across various industries and organizations.

Paul Castro attended Johnson County Community College from 1994 to 1996, where they studied Graphic Design. Following this, they enrolled at The University of Kansas from 1996 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Design.
