Emily Rose

Emily Rose currently serves as the Head of Origination at Balance Strategic Capital, a position held since October 2025. Prior to this role, Emily was a Managing Director at HSBC Innovation Banking from June 2023 to October 2025 and at Silicon Valley Bank from August 2018 to June 2023. Emily's career at RBS from July 2013 to July 2018 included roles such as Vice President in Funds Banking and a secondment to the Mumbai office for training purposes. Earlier positions include various roles in corporate and sales coverage during a graduate rotation at Royal Bank of Scotland and a summer internship at JP Morgan in cash equity sales. Emily holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick, earned between 2007 and 2010.
