Laura Meilander

Laura Meilander currently serves as the Head of Energy Origination at MARA, where responsibilities include leading the energy origination strategy in domestic and international markets across various generation forms. Prior to this role, Laura was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Convergent Energy and Power, focusing on utility-scale origination in solar, storage, and hybrid portfolios. Previous experience encompasses positions at Wood Mackenzie, where Laura managed product strategy for gas services, and multiple roles in commodities origination at major financial institutions such as JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Deutsche Bank. Laura holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Rice University.
