Linda Volkovitsch has a diverse background in education and event planning. Currently working as a Reading Team Teacher at NEW ALBANY-PLAIN LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT and Resource Teacher at Balanced Family Academy, Linda previously served as an Early Childhood Educator at Goddard School. With experience as a Program Specialist at Reading Recovery Council of North America, Linda excels in event planning, coordination, customer service, and communication. Linda's educational background includes a Ohio Teaching License in Elementary Education and a Bachelor's degree in English with a Creative Writing Emphasis from Haverford College.
Balanced Family Academy
Balanced Family Academy is a new concept in childcare. At the heart of our vision, is a commitment to providing the highest quality care that supports the development of the whole child – cognitive, emotional, and physical. That means in addition to a high-quality curriculum, children get wholesome food and plenty of age-appropriate physical activity. We also believe that a healthy, balanced family is an important component in a child’s development. We make it easier for families to maintain healthy habits by offering fitness classes for adults at drop-off and pick-up times and fresh, take-away prepared meals for families on the go.
