Sándor Kolozs has a strong background in IT and system engineering. Sándor started their career in 2001 at Marketorg Kft., where they worked as a System Engineer. During this time, they were responsible for various tasks related to wifi/lan/leased-line/modem-based ISP's Linux systems. Sándor also handled tasks such as QOS, routing, smtp, Zorp firewall, wifi link over 30km, and statistics. Sándor worked at Marketorg Kft. until 2005.
From 2005 to 2007, Sándor joined Szabad Szoftver Intézet Kht., MeH Szoftver Kompetencia Központ, where they served as a Lead Consultant. In this role, they led a small team and promoted Free and open-source software solutions. Their responsibilities included making publications, studies, and showing alternatives for proprietary software.
In 2007, Sándor joined BalaBit IT Security as a System Engineer. Sándor worked in this position for eight years, until 2015. During their time at BalaBit IT Security, Sándor gained expertise in system engineering and provided support in various technical roles.
In 2015, Sándor transitioned to Balasys, where they currently hold the position of Support Leader Engineer.
Sándor Kolozs pursued their education from 1993 to 1996 at Hungary Jobs Freshers, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering. Sándor further continued their studies at the same institution from 1996 to 2000, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering Information Technology.
