Evan Paris

Evan Paris has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Evan recently co-founded Vinance, a financial services company specializing in outsourced CFO, controller bookkeeping, and tax services for small and medium-sized businesses. Evan actively assists clients in improving their accounting processes to produce accurate financial statements efficiently.

Before Vinance, Evan worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Balata Data. Evan joined the company in 2022 and currently holds the role.

Prior to that, Evan served as the Vice President of Finance (FP&A/Controller) at AXS Mobility Corporation from 2019 to 2020. In this role, they provided financial advice to the CEO and Operations, focused on growing and divesting the company. Evan implemented traditional FP&A methods and accurate financial reporting, resulting in improved operational performance, reduced costs, and enhanced efficiency.

From 2016 to 2019, Evan worked at CIOX Health as the Director of Revenue & Reporting (Revenue Controller & Financial Reporting). Evan was responsible for managing revenue control and financial reporting for the company.

Evan gained significant experience in the technology industry while working as an Assurance Manager at PwC from 2013 to 2016. Evan managed core audit services for public and private clients, including those in the technology, pharmaceutical, and financial services sectors. Evan led multi-disciplinary teams, optimized audit processes, and identified new business opportunities for the firm.

Before joining PwC, Evan worked at AGH, LLC from 2003 to 2013, holding various roles ranging from Senior Manager to Staff Accountant in the Assurance Services Department. Evan managed audits in a wide range of industries, including financial services, exporters, technology professional services, construction, franchisees, franchisors, manufacturing, distribution, and employee benefit plans. Additionally, Evan served as the Director of Information Technology, overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems for the company.

Evan began their career as a Support Engineer at AMVESCAP from 2001 to 2003, where they worked on streamlining operational issues and upgrading network and server infrastructure in the AMVESCAP Retirement subsidiary. Prior to that, they served as a LAN Specialist at PanAmSat from 1999 to 2001.

Evan Paris received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1999, they attended The University of Georgia. Evan also holds additional certifications, including MCSE: NT4 from Microsoft in 2000 and CPA from AICPA.
