István Kővári

István Kővári has a strong background in legal and compliance roles. István worked as the Senior External Counsel for Legal and Compliance in Europe at Balbec Capital LP starting in November 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Momentum Credit Zrt from October 2018 to March 2022. From April 2012 to July 2014, István was the Chief Legal Officer for Hungary at GDF SUEZ. Before that, they were a Partner at Gide Loyrette Nouel in Budapest from January 2010 to January 2012. Additionally, István worked as a Partner at CMS Cameron McKenna from 1996 to 2006. Overall, they bring a wealth of experience in legal and compliance, with a focus on leadership and partnership roles.

István Kővári completed an Executive MBA from WU Executive Academy in the year 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a field of study in global executive management from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. Additionally, István holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Eötvös Loránd University.
