Swarup Satish has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they started as a Sr. Software Engineer, Machine Learning at Balbix. In 2020, they were a Student Researcher at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, where they conducted research to measure the impact of the preprint server bioRxiv on mainstream research publications. In 2019, they were a Data Scientist Intern at Television Content Analytics, where they created a system to automatically annotate sports videos with features such as player recognition, event recognition, pose estimation and OCR. In 2017, they were a Fellow at Entrepreneur First. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, where they built algorithms and software to validate a car emissions for on road certification and calibration in the development cycle.
Swarup Satish received a B.E in Electronics and Communication from B. M. S. College of Engineering from 2011-2015. Swarup then went on to receive a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2018-2020.
