Fiona Blakemore

Fiona Blakemore is currently the CFO and Head of Portfolio Finance Services at Balderton Capital. Prior to this, they spent 17 years at Man Group, where they were most recently the Head of Investor Relations & Business Finance. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of Investor Relations during a period of significant change for the Group, including working closely with the Senior Leadership team to articulate company strategy, acting as a key company spokesperson, and briefing analysts and answering questions from investors.

Blakemore has also worked in finance operations, managing a team responsible for reporting Funds under Management for the Group and booking and analysing the Group’s revenues and commissions. In this role, they also worked with the CFO to ensure that the organisational structure in Finance was optimal and that all aspects of talent development and succession planning were being covered by Finance management.

Throughout their career, Fiona Blakemore has demonstrated their ability to excel in both finance and operations roles, making their an invaluable asset to any organisation.

Fiona Blakemore attended the ICAEW for their ACA and then went on to study at the University of Oxford for their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Engineering, Economics and Management. Fiona also attended Benenden School.
