Emergency Dispatcher at Baldwin Fire Department

Paul Cartier is an accomplished organist with extensive experience spanning multiple organizations. Since April 2004, Paul has played the organ for the New York Yankees, performing during Monday-Friday games due to a full-time position as an Air Traffic Controller. Paul began their role as an organist for the New York Islanders in September 1979 and has also provided worship music for St. William the Abbot since June 2020, alongside previous service at Our Lady of Hope from May 1988 to May 2021. In the emergency services sector, Paul has been a dedicated member of the South Hempstead Fire Department since November 1978 as a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT and has worked as an Emergency Dispatcher for the Baldwin Fire Department since April 2017. Paul served as Past President of the Association of Fire Districts of Nassau County from November 2013 to January 2020. Paul retired as an Air Traffic Controller from the FAA in January 2015 after a career beginning in September 1987. Paul holds a BS in Education, Music from Hofstra University and has a background in Music Teacher Education from the University of Dayton.
