Greg Flanik

VP for Operations at Baldwin Wallace University

Greg Flanik is currently the VP for Operations at Baldwin Wallace University. Prior to this, they were with Advance Digital for a year as the Online Content Manager/Sports Editor. Greg was responsible for driving advertising, content, and coverage of professional, minor league, and high school sporting events, including Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, and Indians.

Flanik has been with Baldwin Wallace University for over 20 years in various roles. Greg started as a part-time faculty member in the Department of Communication Arts in 1998 and became a full-time faculty member in 2000. In 2003, they were named the Director of University Web Services and then in 2007, they became the Assistant Vice President for Information Technology. In their current role as CIO, they are responsible for the overall strategic direction of the university's information technology initiatives.

Greg Flanik has a MBA in Systems Management from Baldwin Wallace University and a BA in Psychology Minor Computer Information Systems from Baldwin Wallace University. Greg also has a certification from EDUCAUSE in Leadership Roundtable Thought Leader 2021.

Greg Flanik reports to Robert C. Helmer, President. They are on a team with Lacey Kogelnik - Executive Director, Corporate & Organizational Engagement, William M. Reniff - VP, Finance & Administration, and Dan Karp - AVP, University Relations.
