Scott Schulz

VP, Enrollment Management at Baldwin Wallace University

Scott Schulz is currently the VP of Enrollment Management at Baldwin Wallace University. Prior to this, they served as the Dean of Enrollment at Saint Martin's University from July 2011 to July 2014. In this role, they were responsible for recruiting, evaluating, admitting, enrolling and retaining a diverse student body that met the resource needs of the institution and supported its Benedictine mission. Scott also managed an annual operating budget of approx. $1 million.

During their time at Saint Martin's University, Schulz established an enrollment vision and a principled strategic enrollment plan for meeting specific enrollment, profile, and retention goals for first-year and transfer students, with clear assessment metrics. Scott also interpreted predictive modeling data to establish awarding matrices in support of enrollment goals, and analyzed performance data to adapt leveraging strategies as necessary and maximize net tuition revenue.

In addition to their work with the Office of Admissions, Schulz also closely partnered with the Office of Marketing and Communications, which included experience creating and maintaining a thematic and mission-centered communication outreach plan, developing and implementing inbound social media strategies, and enhancing the institution's web-based presence. Scott also engaged in regular enrollment strategy planning sessions with the Office of International Programs and Development, Office of Graduate Studies, and the Extended Learning Division.

Schulz has also served on a number of committees, including the University Council, Academic Standards Committee, Student Success Committee, and the Board of Trustees Enrollment Management and Student Affairs Committee. Scott has also chaired the Retention Task Force, which included efforts to fix the accuracy of reports, launch a

Scott Schulz received their high school diploma from Dimond High School with honors. Scott then went on to study communication at the University of Arizona, where they received their bachelor's degree. Finally, they completed their doctorate in higher education at the University of Arizona.
